As much as I am NOT ready to let go of summer, I will say that I am ready to at least start breaking into my fall-ish wardrobe.
I feel like I’m getting sort of bored with a lot of my summer clothes, and have been wearing a lot of the same things over and over again (hence the reason it’s been a while since one of these posts!). But since I did have a couple of new things to share with you from our recent shopping trip to the outlets in Lake George, here we are today!
Outfit #1
- Top: Lace T-Shirt (wearing in vintage champagne color, size 4) via J Crew Factory Outlet – I also purchased this shirt in black, too, and I LOVE IT.
- Jeggings: Super Soft Low Rise Jeggings (wearing in long length) via American Eagle // Also THESE and THESE are similar
- Sandals: Convington Gladiator Wedge Sandals via Sears (purchased a couple of years ago, which you can see in this old post) (similar, similar)
Outfit #2
- Sweater: Boatneck Sweater (wearing in black, size small) via Banana Republic Factory
- Jeggings: AE Ne(X)t Level High-Waisted Jegging (wearing in long length – I’m 5’7″ with long legs) via American Eagle
- Necklace: Filigree Leaf Pendant Necklace
Outfit #3
I know you guys have technically already seen this one, but I’m giving you details on the tops, which is the same as the black one above!
- Sweater: Boatneck Sweater (wearing in pink, size small) via Banana Republic Factory
- Bralette: Racerback Lace Bralette (wearing in size small) via Target – I purchased these in black and feathered peach (pictured) and they’re very comfortable!
- Jeans: Paige Premium Denim via TJ Maxx // THESE are very similar, if not the same
- Flip Flops: good ol’ Old Navy floppies
Outfit #4
I’m only including this one because I had had a couple of people ask me a while back about this shirt and how it fit, so here ya go!
- Tank: Chasing Tiny Humans is My Cardio Muscle Tank via Chloe vs Tank on Etsy (it doesn’t look like that shirt is currently available, but I love her shop!)
- Shorts: Distressed Boyfriend Shorts via Old Navy (these were purchased a couple of years ago)
Outfit #5
- Top: Pleat Neck Crepe Top (wearing in pink, size small) via Banana Republic Factory
- White Jeans: Just Black via Stitch Fix. THESE are very similar
- Flats: via Sole Society from a couple of years ago // Also CUTE and CUTE!
What fall fashion trends are you most excited about getting back into?!

I always love these posts! I’m excited for some scarves and cardigans for fall !
Courtney says
Me too!! Target had some awesome open front cardigans recently… :)

Your outfits are super cute, but is there any reason you are posting your sizes (at least for the tops). I don’t know if I see the point of it—it just kind of screams, “Hey, look, I’m wearing a small.” Humble brag, perhaps? Sorry for the negativity, but I just wish people didn’t care so much about sizes. I would bet that if you were bigger and wearing a large or whatever, you wouldn’t be posting the sizes.
Michelle says
I think it’s good because it helps people to gauge what size to purchase. Sometimes clothes run small or big.
Courtney says
I’m sorry to hear you think that, Samantha. I honestly couldn’t care less if I were wearing a small or a large, but I’ve had many people reach out in the past asking about sizes…and I, too, appreciate when people mention sizes because you never really know how something will fit (especially if you’re ordering from some place new). For example, I never would have ordered the size I got for the lace shirts from J Crew if I was just ordering online, so I think sometimes it’s just nice to have some extra feedback.
Karen says
For size reference, it’s very common when posting outfits! I find it very helpful… I love all of these Courtney :)
Michelle says
I tried the J.Crew code and it didn’t work. Can you double check it? Thanks!!
Courtney says
Aww man, it looks like it’s gone! It must have ended yesterday (which is when I looked it up). Gahh, I’m sorry! :(
AB says
Cute outfits!
I love the paint color in your room… do you happen to know what color and brand it is?
Kayla says
I love these posts! Your outfits are always so cute! As much as I don’t want to see summer go, I do love sweaters and scarves so much :) Hope you’re having a great week! Xoxo
Anna says
Hey Courtney! Thanks for the cute ideas, curious what size you get in the AE jeans, and if you find they stretch out much? I’m also 5’7, so I know the long length will be what I need, and I usually wear a 4 in Gap/Old Navy…. but I haven’t tried AE in so long, and will be ordering online.
Courtney says
Hey Anna! I’m typically a size 6 (long) in all jeans and jeggings from AE and I haven’t had any issues with them stretching out (which is what often happens with me and Old Navy/Gap jeans!).
Steph says
I love these posts! I’m most looking forward to….not wearing maternity clothes anymore! Haha…in a way I’ll miss it. But I have been rotating the same tees/shorts/dresses for months and am ready for a change! Even if I’ll be living in leggings and hoodies for a couple of months…
Erica says
I love your fashion posts Courtney! Please keep doing outfit posts every couple of weeks! You truly look great in anything you wear!
Courtney says
Thanks so much, Erica!

Ohhhh I am dying over that lace top and the blush top from Banana. I need NOOO new clothes but I recently started looking at Abercrombie again ( little do they know MOMS are shopping there now) and got the cutest half zip fleece that I’m beyond obsessed with. I’m so happy we got a super hot long summer but I could do with a little sweater weather now ;)
Loving everything you’re wearing lately!
Courtney says
I’ve HEARD that Abercrombie is starting to make a bit of a comeback for our age group!! I have yet to check it out, but I think I’m gonna have to soon! :)
